Caribbean Airlines in a media release on Monday night stated that the BW476 And BW477 of September 27, flight to and from Havana, Cuba, have been cancelled.
Re-accommodation flights will operate instead on September 29 with flight BW3476 leaving Trinidad at 10.30 am, arriving in Havana at 2. 35 pm and flight BW 3477 departing from Havana at 3.45 pm and arriving in Trinidad at 7.35 pm.
Caribbean Airlines also advised that the flights to and from Guyana on September 29 will take place as scheduled.
“The airline has reached out to the affected passengers, and re-accommodation is in progress,” Caribbean Airline stated.

According to international reports, Hurricane Ian’s morphed into a Catergory 3 storm early Tuesday morning and has hit out at Cuba causing 50,000 to evacuate in Cuba’s Pinar del Rio province.
Ian is forecasted to strengthen further over warm Gulf of Mexico waters before reaching Florida as early as Wednesday as a Category 4 storm with top winds of 140 mph (225 km/h), AP News reported.
