THE Advent message continues to remain relevant today as its message of hope is needed now more than ever.
The light of Jesus Christ, whose birth is celebrated at Christmas, brings hope, peace and joy and love to a world which is overshadowed by darkness says Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago, the Right Reverand Daniel Chance.
In his 2024 Christmas message, Chance said, “God’s light can be manifested in us when we are willing to open ourselves to be receptive to the gift of salvation.”
In the video message he said, “As the year 2024 draws to a close, let us all as God’s people, use this opportunity which has been given to us to get rid or to remove the things within us which hinder spiritual growth and development as we avail ourselves of the presence and work of the Holy Spirit within us.”
Chance said the Presbyterian Church anticipates a Spirit-filled and productive 2025 and hopes that God will continue to guide believers into a better world.
