Gyrating Woman Robs Man in POS

A 62-year-old man withdrew money from a Port of Spain bank on Thursday and was relieved of it by a woman who gyrated on him after he visited a fast-food outlet.

A release by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) on Saturday stated that approximately 2pm on Thursday, a 62-year-old made a $2,700 withdrawal from a bank located at Independence Square, Port of Spain.

After securing the cash in his back pocket, he went to a nearby fast-food restaurant, to visit a friend, the release stated.

As the man was about to leave the restaurant, an unknown woman approached him, and she began to engage the man in an unsolicited and bizarre encounter.

She allegedly began to gyrate on the man, rubbing her hands and hugging him all over his body, while enquiring about the welfare of his family.

The interaction lasted for about ten minutes. Following the unexpected interaction, the man discovered that the money he had withdrawn was missing from his pocket. 

Realising he had been a victim of theft; he promptly reported the incident.

During a mobile patrol in the Port of Spain area yesterday, a Guard and Emergency Branch team, comprising Cpl Gerald, PC Boyce, PC Andrews, and WPC Pantor, observed a woman fitting the description of the suspect. 

The woman was apprehended, taken into police custody and was later identified by the victim.
