Archbishop of Port-of-Spain Charles Jason Gordon is calling upon the public to remember voting is a sacred duty and as sign of love for our nation.
In an official message sent out on Wednesday, Gordon urged citizens to reflect and vote with discernment, asking not what benefits us personally, but what would be best for the common good.
Gordon added, “Let your vote count- not just as a mark on a ballot, but as a sign of love for this land and your hope for its people.”
He called for peace and compassion as the nation gears up for the general election on Monday 28th April.
