MEMBERS of the public were given a further extension for the validity of documents that expired on or before July 31, 2022.
A release from the Ministry of Works on Transport on Monday stated that this was in light of continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on its operations.
These applied to driving permits, taxi driver licences, badges, certificates or other documents which expired on or before July 31, 2022, which was now deemed valid until August 1, 2022.
The release stated, “However, any transfer of vehicle registration required to be completed on or before July 31, 2022, maybe completed on or before August 1, 2022.”
MOWT has advised the public to pay particular attention to the dates specified and such were directed to schedule an appointment via the appointment portal https://licensingappointment.
