A 27-year-old Enterprise man will appear in court on Wednesday charged with manslaughter
, of Crown Trace Enterprise, will appear before the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court to answer to the charge for the manslaughter of 28-year-old Vicky Baldeo, of Crown Trace Enterprise, who died February 28, 2020, from wounds sustained three days earlier.
The charge was laid by Detective Corporal Phillip following consultations held with the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Ms Joan Honore-Paul.
The victim was struck down by an oncoming vehicle in his attempt to escape being further beaten three men, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service said in a statement on Tuesday.
Daniel subsequently surrendered to police at the Chaguanas Police Station on June 10, 2020 after months of evading arrest, the release stated.
The two other suspects, Akiel Smith and Warren John were previously arrested and charged with manslaughter.
Investigations were conducted by officers of the Homicide Bureau Region Three Office, spear-headed by Inspector Figaro under the supervision of Superintendent Dhillpaul.
