ENGLAND has reclaimed the Wisden Trophy after a 2-1 victory against the West Indies in the three-match Test series.
The Caribbean side did not get off to a good start on the final day of play, chasing 389 runs at the Old Trafford in Manchester.
Kraigg Brathwaite and Shai Hope came out in the middle hoping to put up a fight against the English bowlers.
Brathwaite got to 19 before he was LBW to Stuart Broad.
Hope was the top-scorer but was caught by Broad off the bowling of Chris Woakes for 31 runs.
It was easy picking for England as the Windies were all out for 129.
Woakes was the pick of the bowlers with his five wickets while he was well supported by Broad who took four wickets.
This match was not without milestones as Broad also got his 500th wicket.
He was named player of the match and shared the player of the series award with Roston Chase.
England will keep the Wisden trophy as the two teams will now compete for the Richards Botham trophy.
