A MINISTRY of Education caravan encouraging students not to give up on their studies is being rolled into varying schools throughout Trinidad.
The Turn Up, Don’t Give Up Caravan, which runs from July 19 to August 18, will team up with influencers and other personalities who will share their journey with the students, with the hope that it will inspire and motivate them.

It will be moving in conjunction with the ministry’s Vacation Revision Programme (VRP) being held at 33 centres across during the July-August vacation period to enhance key competencies in fundamental areas.
To enhance the initiative the MOE is hosting the ‘educational’ caravan aimed at inspiring students to stay the course and push forward despite whatever academic, social or economic challenges they currently face, a ministry release on Wednesday stated.
Students will have the opportunity to engage with speakers, win prizes for their participation and also get information on community and volunteer type groups and other opportunities to enhance themselves.
The first stop for the caravan is El Dorado East Secondary on Wednesday for a special event from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm.
The students from El Dorado East Secondary participating in revision programme will be joined by the students from El Dorado West Secondary and Five Rivers Secondary School.
