Drop Cameras Used in Search for Missing Diver

DROP cameras are being deployed in recovery efforts for missing diver Pete Phillip.

This was stated in a release on Sunday by Well Services Petroleum Company Limited after Phillip went missing a week ago when Rig 110 began to sink in the Gulf of Paria.

The release stated: “An additional company was engaged with their underwater camera system to supplement the 360-degree drop cameras as the search and recovery efforts continued for Pete Phillips. However, there were no signs of Pete Phillip or any personal protective equipment (PPE).”

It stated, “Well Services Petroleum Company Limited, with the full support of Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, remains fully committed to the search and recovery efforts for Mr. Pete Phillip.

“This phase of the operation continues to prioritise the safety of all personnel and the utmost respect for those affected by the situation.”

It stated, “We will continue to update all key stakeholders regularly and will remain dedicated to providing the necessary resources and expertise. Well Services is also maintaining ongoing communication and support for Mr. Phillip’s family.”
