DIGICEL has increased some of its services as of August 15.
It said the increases were necessary because of higher programming costs.
The “Play Now” package has gone up from $319 to $339, the “Play More” bundle from $369 to $389 and the “Première” offering went up from $579 to $599.
Digicel has also launched a new Modern Fibre offering to cater to the specific needs, lifestyles and budgets of their customers.
The company said: “This new product allows customers to tailor their entertainment and broadband packages with prices starting from as low $299 and TV add-ons from $29.”
In July Moody’s changed Digicel’s outlook for the company to negative.
Moody’s said the decision to downgrade its rating of the group reflected its view that “the risk of Digicel making another distressed exchange or debt restructuring within the next 12-18 months has increased, considering the still weak operating results and liquidity of the group.”
