MINISTER of Health Terrence Deyaslingh has been admitted to hospital.
This was confirmed in a release by the Ministry of Health just before midnight on Monday.
It stated that he first presented himself to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mount Hope, on Monday night, after experiencing flu-like symptoms.
The release stated, “A diagnosis of Covid-19 was ruled out.”
Deyalsingh was transferred to the Arima General Hospital for further management and observation, the release stated.
It noted that he remains in a stable condition.
