THE highest number of deaths in the Covid-19 pandemic was reported today – Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
The Ministry of Health in its latest Covid-19 update (#939) reported 32 deaths.
The deaths were:
- 15 elderly men;
- 8 elderly women;
- 3 middle-aged men; and
- 6 middle-aged females.
Sixteen had multiple comorbidities while ten had only one and six were without any known pre-existing conditions, the ministry reported.
It stated that there were 706 new positive cases taken from samples during the period December 11 to December 14.
