THERE will be no more Ministry of Health virtual Covid-19 updates on Saturdays.
This was announced by Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh on Wednesday during the ministry’s virtual press conference.
He said the ministry will maintain the Wednesday conferences to interact with the media and the public.
Deyalsingh said if the need arises, a press conference will be arranged for that day.
He said, “If there are new developments if there are serious developments, we will come to you.”
He reiterated that the country was not yet out of the Covid-19 pandemic but was already preparing for the endemic stage of the virus.
And the minister also wished women a happy International Women’s Day which was held on Tuesday.
