SEVENTEEN people have died as a result of Covid-19 on Thursday carrying the total death toll to more than 2,500.
In its latest Covid-19 update (940), the Ministry of Health also reported 567 new positive cases were taken from samples during the period December 12 to December 15.
The 17 deaths included:
- 7 elderly men;
- 4 elderly women;
- 4 middle-aged men; and
- 2 middle-aged women.
Eight of the people who passed away had multiple comorbidities, five had only one and four none.
