Covid-19: 12 Deaths, 512 News Cases, Death Toll Crosses 1,800

MORE than 60,000 people have tested positive for Covid-19, the death toll has crossed 1,800 with more than 6,000 active cases in Trinidad and Tobago.

This as 12 more people have died from Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday.

This means the total number of Covid-19 related deaths was now 1,806. 

In its latest update (#904) on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported  512 new Covid-19 cases taken from samples during the period November 6 to November 9.

New cases: 512  

Active cases: 6,036    

Patients recovered:  52, 633   

Total positive cases: 60, 475     

Deaths: 1,806    

Patients in hospital: 427     

Patients in step-down Facilities: 48    

Patients in state quarantine: 87     

Patients in home isolation: 5,049     

Total persons vaccinated with 1st dose of a Two Dose Regime: 629,328     

Total persons vaccinated with 2nd dose of a Two Dose Regime: 583,564  

Total persons vaccinated with a Single Dose Regime: 37,597   

Total persons with a Completed Vaccination Regime: 621, 161  

Percentage of patients in the parallel healthcare system who are not fully vaccinated: 92.3% 5,033 out of 5,453 based on data from July 22, 2021 to October 27, 2021.
