Change of Polling Station in Tunapuna

ON Sunday evening, voters in the Tunapuna constituency were advised of a polling station change.
Both the United National Congress (UNC) and the People’s National Movement (PNM) candidates issued advisories to the electorate.
PNM’s  Esmonde Forde posted to his Facebook page, a “reminder of polling station change.”

Notice: Reminder of Polling Station Change

Please be advised that electors assigned to the following polling divisions:

1705, 1706, 1707, 1708, 1750-1, 1750-2, 1750-3, 1755-1, 1755-2, and 1875 will now vote at: El Dorado West Secondary School Target Road, El Dorado.”

He stated, “This change was necessary due to electrical issues at the previously assigned location, El Dorado East. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.”
Tunapuna is one of the 11 marginal seats being contested in the general election.
UNC’s Roger Alexander, in a letter to residents stated, “The Election and Boundaries Commission (EBC) has advised all voters from the following polling divisions will be voting in the El Dorado West Secondary School (commonly known as Eldo Brown).
The divisions he listed were the same as Forde’s.
Alexander further advised, “Please note: Even if you have not received your poll card, you are still eligible to vote once your name appears  on the revised list of electors.
