CHAGUANAS businessman Darryl Dindial was fatally shot by bandits during a robbery at his workplace on Thursday night.
Reports indicated that he was at his business, Dindial’s Auto Supplies in Montrose, Chaguanas, around 7 pm when he was accosted by gunmen.
Dindial was shot and rushed to the Chaguanas Health Centre where he died.
Residents of Montrose staged a protest by burning debris on the road complaining that there has been an upsurge of crime in the area.
The murder toll is now 193 in 125 days.
