THE new members of the board at Caribbean Airlines have received their instruments of appointment.
Minister of Finance Davendranath Tancoo made the presentation on Tuesday.
The government has agreed to the appointment of the new board, as members for a period of two years with effect from the date of the Resolution of the Shareholders, in accordance with the Companies Act, Chap. 81:01 and the by-laws of the company, the ministry stated via media release.
The new board of directors are:
- Reyna Kowlessar – Chairman
- Videsh Praim – Vice Chairman
- Sharlene Maharaj
- Selwyn Cudjoe
- Amit Krishan Mahabir
- D. Adam J. Moss
The release stated, “The Minister of Finance congratulates these outstanding and qualified individuals in their new role and express sincerest gratitude for their commitment to serve the Company and by extension the people of Trinidad and Tobago.”
