FLIGHTS on Caribbean Airlines internationally and domestically are now operating as scheduled.
This following the filing of an injunction against the Trinidad and Tobago Airline Pilots Association (TTALPA) its members and associates for the sickout action taken by Caribbean Airlines.
Caribbean Airlines in an update at 1 pm on Tuesday stated that its flights for the day were back to normalcy.
“The regular operation is working in parallel with recovery flights, some operated by charters on behalf of the airline to accommodate any remaining displaced passengers,” Caribbean Airlines said in a customer advisory.
The company continues to contact affected customers by phone. E-mails and SMS notifications with updated information were also being sent to passengers, the advisory stated.
There were three recovery charter flights scheduled for Tuesday in addition to six recovery flights for displaced passengers.
For Wednesday, there is one recovery charter flight to assist passengers travelling to Toronto, Canada.
