A BOY is one of the two people who died of Covid-19 on the first day of June.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,107), noted that there were 206 new positive cases.
The deaths recorded are one middle-aged man and a male child.
Both persons each had a comorbidity.
May recorded a total of 88 deaths and 13,717 positive cases, an increase from April.
May 28 was the deadliest day in the month with six people dying of Covid-19 and it also recorded two days with no deaths.
The ministry also stated that 158, 902 boosters have been administered while 50.9% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 15, 292 or 81%, while 3, 576 or 19% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to June 1, 2022.
