THE body of a woman believed to be that of Vicky Ali has been found.
Ali, 33, was reported missing since March 30.
The decomposed body was found by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team in the Cumuto forest around 12.15 pm on Wednesday.
ASP Ramdass of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad was immediately informed of the discovery.
Her body was found a short distance away from her home.
The Anti-Kidnapping Unit, led by ASP Darryl spearheaded the investigation.
Searches were conducted in locations led by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, Ali’s relatives and residents of the area.
A post-mortem is expected to be conducted at the Forensic Science Centre to determine cause of death.
