THE bodies of the two Rio Claro friends who went fishing on Thursday have been found.
They were both found on Saturday.
The first body discovered was that of Ismael Mohammed, 22.
It was found in Pineapple Cove, Blanchisseuse around 8 am with bruises but not in a badly decomposed state AZPNews.com was told.
The second body found was that of Richard Ramlochan, 29. It was discovered around 1.30 pm a little way off from where Mohammed’s body was found.
The men were fishing from the shore of Damien Bay, Blanchisseuse, before they went missing.
Jaafar Mohammed, Ismael Mohammed’s cousin said that the two friends usually go fishing together along the east coast.
Jaafar Mohammed had been part of the search party that consisted of officers from the Blanchisseuse Police Station and the Hunters Association searching since Thursday for the missing men.
He told AZPNews.com, “Up until this morning, we had hope that we would find him alive. But we have accepted his death and we are a little bit relieved that now we can do a proper funeral for him.”
