A 14-year-old boy was abducted outside his family’s business in St Augustine on Wednesday morning.
Zaheer Sammuel was with his parents, preparing to open their shop, S&S Plant and Garden Shop, on Eastern Main Road around 5.30 am when the incident occurred. Their store is located opposite Massy Stores.
According to police reports, a brown station wagon approached the family. Two men exited the vehicle and swiftly kidnapped Zaheer, forcing him inside before the car sped away.
On Saturday Zahir Khan was kidnapped from his son’s business in Bamboo and was found in a house in Morvant on Monday by police. There was no word on whether a ransom was paid.
