POLITICAL Leader of the Progressive Empowerment Party (PEP) Phillip Edward Alexander is calling for zero tolerance for the offence of bullying in the nation’s schools.
In a statement of Saturday, he said when a student commits an act of bullying for the first time he should be automatically suspended for seven days.
Alexander said, “The second offence – expulsion, enrollment in army controlled boot camp, half the day spent in class, the other half spent in labour, cleaning, washing, cooking, maintaining the camp.
“Life has serious consequences, and bullies need to learn that lesson fast.”
