THE Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has extended the adverse weather alert to Yellow Level #3 from Satuday to 10am on Sunday (October 3).
In a Facebook post on Saturday, the Met Office stated, “As winds in the lower levels of the atmosphere remains relatively strong, there remains a high potential (70%) for gusty winds in excess of 55km/h in the vicinity of showers/thunderstorms. Seas can become agitated especially in the vicinity of heavy showers/thunderstorms.”
Meanwhile, the Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) has reported a house roof was blown off at Franklin Les Coteaux, Tobago following strong winds on Saturday morning.
