THE Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) issues an adverse weather alert Yellow Level from Friday at 11pm to Saturday at 6pm.

TTMS stated, “Due to a surge of relatively strong winds in the lower levels of the atmosphere, there is a high potential (70%) for gusty winds in excess of 55km/h to accompany intermittent showers and isolated thunderstorms.

“Activity is expected to initially affect Tobago and gradually spread across Trinidad.

“While showery activity may be experienced by early night, more impactful activity is expected as the night progresses.”
