AN adverse weather alert that was issued on Saturday from 9 am to 6.30 pm has been discontinued.
However, there still remains a low (30%) chance of an overnight heavy shower\thunderstorm.
In an update at 6.16 pm on Saturday, TTMS said, “The threat of impactful weather has decreased significantly. Despite the diminished threat, landslides/landslips are still possible in areas so prone, with additional rainfall.
“Most areas are currently experiencing overcast conditions with light to moderate rain, which will continue for the next few hours.”
