FOUR of the men who escaped from the Immigration Detention Centre (IDC) in Aripo have criminal records in Venezuela
They were awaiting deportation at the IDC and cut a piece of the fence during “airing” – a time when they are given a chance to get fresh air – and escaped.

Two of the Venezuelan men – Claudio Charles and Flores Jose – surrendered to police today while the rest remain at large.
