THE Covid-19 lockdown in Trinidad and Tobago will be extended to April 30.
Prime Minister announced the new procedures to deal with the global pandemic at a news conference on Monday. The measures were originally scheduled to end on April 15.
He said the new measures will take place from Tuesday (April 7) and anyone in public should wear a mask.
Food services of any kind have been closed from Tuesday.
Rowley said:
- Hardware and electrical stores will be opened from 8 am to 12 noon from Monday to Saturday.
- Retail services such as groceries, vegetable stalls, parlous should close by 6 pm
- Wholesale stores should be closed by 4 pm
- Religious gathering should be no more than five people.
