AMIDST the Covid-19 crisis, the population of Trinidad and Tobago is now being told to wear cloth-like masks.
This new suggestion was made by Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram at the virtual news conference on Saturday.
He said, “Those in the general population can use masks but they should use cloth-like or homemade masks in every setting, especially when you go in to the supermarkets, markets, pharmacies, banks or high risk areas where you have congregations.
“Of course if you are travelling in public transport.
“Surgical masks and N-95 masks are to be left for the medical practitioners.”
