MINISTER in the Ministry of Housing Phillip Edward Alexander held his Christmas event at Stollmeyer’s Castle on Sunday. It was titled “Merry Christmas from Phillip Alexander & Family.”
The star-studded all-inclusive party had Dil-E-Nadan as its headliner with Soca Parang maestro Baron and Soca star Iwer George also serenading the crowd.
Among the guests were Minister of Defence Wayne Sturge, Minister of Labour and Small and Micro Enterprise Development Leroy Baptiste, Senator Brian Baig, Claxton Bay MP Hansen Narinesingh and Congress of the People political leader Prakash Ramadhar.
Alexander said the event was sponsored by him and his family and not taxpayers in with the announcement of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar not to have state-sponsored parties for Christmas.
