JAMAICA’s Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport has announced November 23, 2025, as the new date for the I LOVE JAMAICA Telethon and Virtual Concert.
Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Grange stated that, beyond offering financial assistance to those impacted by the Hurricane Melissa, the event was intended to inspire and uplift the nation that has already suffered more than 40 deaths.
“A telethon symbolises what we do best in Jamaica. That is, we use our talent; we use our culture and togetherness to overcome adversity,” she said.

The telethon will be aired on Jamaican television stations and across local and international platforms from 1 pm to 7 pm.
Grange said that a complete list of broadcasters, streamers and media partners will be announced in the coming days.
In a media release from the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission on Tuesday, artistes Tarrus Riley, Chris Martin, Lukie D. Alaine and Masicka are confirmed to perform.
The minister shared that contributions towards the relief can be made through the Support Jamaica website at supportjamaica.gov.jm.
All contributions will be registered and monitored by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and the Minister of Labour and Social Security in Jamaica.
A global concert series is also set to showcase Jamaican culture across North America and the United Kingdom.

On behalf of the sporting community, cricketer Chris Gayle will be partnering with the Caribbean Premier League to raise funds Grange said.
“The Jamaica Football Federation has agreed to allow the Reggae Boyz vs Curacao World Cup Qualifying match at our National Stadium on November 18 as a Relief Effort. The Jamaica Red Cross will be partnering with the JFF and the ministry to collect donations from patrons at the match,” she also said.
The telethon will receive support from Red Stripe and Digicel.

He said, “When we come together, whether it be industry, government, artistes, and citizens alike, we’re gonna be unstoppable.”
Digicel’s CEO Stephen Murad said, “We’re in such a place that we are desperate to help. We need the world to step up and help Jamaica. But what I always love, which is why I made Jamaica my home, is the Jamaican spirit. The relentless spirit of Jamaicans cannot be broken and will not be broken.”
