The initiative produces approximately 1.2 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually and has already mitigated an estimated 660 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.”
AATT stated, “This award not only highlights the Authority’s dedication to environmental sustainability and operational excellence but also underscores its contribution towards Trinidad and Tobago’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to advancing initiatives in creating “a safer, greener and more sustainable future” in the aviation sector and wider nation.
