THREE suspects are facing charges for possession of cannabis for trafficking after a Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) anti-crime exercise in the Trincity District.
In a release on Monday, the TTPS confirmed the arrest of three suspects between the ages of 26 to 42, for possession and trafficking after a quantity of marijuana was discovered at a warehouse on Macoya Industrial Estate.
According to the TTPS, around 4.20 pm on Saturday officers of the DCP Operations Unit conducted an exercise at the Macoya Industrial Estate based on intelligence of a drug shipment.
The exercise resulted in the seizure of 82 black packets, four brown packets, two transparent packets and one red packet, all of which contained cannabis.
The TTPS stated the suspects, from Trincity and Chaguanas, were arrested and charged.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
