THE government of Trinidad and Tobago expresses condolences to Ghana following the fatal helicopter crash last week.
On Monday, Acting Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Barry Padarath signed the condolence book in honour of the government officials and military personnel who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash in Ghana on August 6.
The signing took place at the residence of Chargé d’Affaires of the High Commission of the Republic of Ghana Charles Kwakye Marfo where Padarath conveyed, on behalf of the government and citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, deepest sympathy to the government and people of Ghana, the Foreign and CARICOM Affairs stated via social media.
Also present was the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the European Union Peter Cavendish, who also signed the condolence book in tribute to the victims.
“We join the nation of Ghana in mourning this profound loss,” the ministry stated.
