PNM Pauses Campaigning for SEA

THE People’s National Movement (PNM) will be pausing on some campaigning aspects on Thursday.
Thursday is the day for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) across Trinidad and Tobago.
PNM’s General Secretary Foster Cummings in a media release on Tuesday stated that the campaign activities will be paused across all 41 constituencies as the primary school children write one of the most important exams of their lives.

The release stated that the pause will take effect from 6 am to 3 pm on Thursday and particularly during exam hours.
Cummings stated, “Further, instructions have been given to all campaign teams that no music trucks are to be used from 6 pm on Wednesday April 9 until 3 pm on Thursday April 10, as the children in the various communities prepare in their homes or other community spaces for the exam and then undertake the exam on Thursday.”

The release stated, “The PNM is committed to every national of Trinidad and Tobago, including and especially our young people who carry the promise of our shared Trinbago future in their hearts and within them. The PNM wishes all of our brilliant students clarity of mind, a sense of calm, and every success in the 2025 SEA.”
On Thursday night, the PNM is carded to hold a public meeting at Signature Hall, Chaguanas. Prime Minister Stuart Young is scheduled to be the feature speaker at that event.

There are no public meetings scheduled for Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the PNM heads to Market Square, Point Fortin.
