WRECKING is in full effect over the Carnival.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service stated: “Wrecking is in full effect! Wrecked vehicles will be kept at Licensing until 9 p.m. After 9 p.m. persons will have to proceed to Old Traffic Branch, Abbatoir Road, Sea Lots.
“Cost to reclaim your vehicle, TT$500 cash only.
“If the vehicle remains overnight an additional cost of TT$200 per day.”
In another post it said road blocks will be conducted all over the country.
It stated:”TTPS will be conducting road checks throughout Trinidad and Tobago. We are asking members of the public to cooperate with officers. Ensuring your safety is our priority. #Carnival2020 #CarnivalSafety #TTPS”
