TEN warmblood horses from Holland will now be part of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
The TTPS stated that the horses arrived on Friday and were handed over to the Mounted Branch.
A release stated, “These horses, which have already been trained, are now in quarantine.
“After their acclimatisation and further training, the horses will be deployed for patrol, escort duties, and in the fight against crime.
“Warmbloods are a group of middle-weight horse types, and breeds primarily originating in Europe, and registered with organisations that are characterised by open studbook policy, studbook selection, and the aim of breeding for equestrian sport.”
