The popular Ramnarine Supermarket on St Lucien Road, Diego Martin, was robbed on Tuesday afternoon by a lone gunman.
Reports indicate that around 6.30 pm, a man entered the supermarket and pulled a jersey over his head. He then pointed a gun at the cashier and ordered both staff and customers to lie on the ground.
The robber escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
