PRIME MINISTER Dr Keith Rowley is celebrating his 75th birthday in Samoa.
The prime minister for almost nine years posted on his Facebook page, “Talofa from Samoa!”
He said, “Thank you for your heartfelt birthday greetings and well wishes. I thank God for keeping me by his grace. I am currently leading the Trinidad and Tobago delegation at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa.”
Dr Rowley is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Caricom Dr Amery Browne.
Minister of Energy Stuart Young is once again acting as prime minister until Dr Rowley’s return.
Dr Rowley turned 75 on Thursday.
