A Princes Town mother was chopped to death at her home on Saturday night.
Reports indicate that 34-year-old Laura Sankar, a mother of two, was murdered following a dispute. Sankar lived at Post Office Trace in St Julien Trace.
Her killing occurred on the same day of the funeral of Tara Ramsaroop, 34, and her daughter, who were killed in Barrackpore last week.
Ramsaroop, a mother of four, died from multiple chop wounds, while her daughter Jada suffered a neck wound.
Rishi Motilal, 29, of Rigg Road, Barrackpore, appeared in court on Friday charged with the murders.
