Minister Gonzales extended a warm welcome to the board members, expressing gratitude for their commitment to public service.
He praised T&TEC as a model utility that the nation should take pride in and emphasised the importance of continued effective management to ensure the provision of a reliable electricity supply across Trinidad and Tobago.
In his address, Gonzales highlighted the successful collaboration between T&TEC and the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) during the critical infrastructure upgrade of the Caroni Arena Plant. He encouraged the board to build on this collaborative effort, noting that such partnerships would significantly benefit the country’s utility sector.
