FOR only the second time in the history of Panorama there was a tie for first.
BP Renegades and Massy Trinidad All Stars each amassed 285 points to share the title at the Queen’s Park Oval on Saturday evening.
The last time two steelbands took the title together was in 1985 when both Renegades and Desparadoes played Lord Kitchener’s Pan Night and Day.
The win for Renegades means they have now overtaken Deporadoes as the Charlotte Street-based pan side now have 13 Panorama titles.
