THE recently installed Trinidad and Tobago street sign in New York has been stolen.
The sign was installed on August 20 at 131st Street, Queens, New York, a street populated by many T&T nationals.
The sign was stolen sometime over last weekend.
Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Dr Amery Browne said on Wednesday, “I have instructed the Consulate General of Trinidad and Tobago to meet with the Mayor of New York ASAP on the matter and to request a formal investigation. I anticipate a report in the near future.”
