THE Aranguez robbery suspect who died in a shoot-out with police officers has been identified.
Police have identified the suspect as Rakel Rahim Mason, of Kerr Street, Eastern Quarry, Port of Spain, and known to the police.
He was identified on Monday.
Mason and five other men allegedly robbed and beat six members of a family at their home at Ramlal Trace, Aranjuez on Sunday night.
When police officers responded, Mason allegedly opened fire on the officers who fired back resulting in Mason being killed.
And on Good Friday, another suspect who was involved in the murder of businessman Nicholas Zhu in San Juan was identified as Kishonte Reid from Tobago.
Zhu who was shot at during a robbery, died at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope.
Police officers responded, confronted Reid who also allegedly shot at officers who returned fire.
Reid was also known to police officers.
