TWO persons were shot dead and a pregnant teenager hurt in another daylight shooting.
The shooting took place at Freeman Road, St Augustine on Wednesday afternoon.
Police reports are that Daniel Riley, 21, and his 16-year-old girlfriend were at their home off Freeman Road, when around 1.15 pm, a silver-coloured Nissan Tiida pulled up and gunmen got out and opened fire.
Riley and another man who was shot died at the scene.
The teenager who was shot in her stomach was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition.
The men’s deaths are the fourth and fifth murders to take place this year in that area.
In January, Darshan Ramnauth, 16 and Geno Shah were gunned down on the same street.
Last month, 26-year-old Aneesa Ramkissoon was killed in front of her young children and her sister’s house was burnt down afterwards.
