A 26-YEAR-OLD soldier dies following a vehicular accident in Debe.
Reports are that Nickel Zoey, of Alexandria Lane, Corinth was driving his white Nissan B14 around 2.30 pm on Wednesday when a tyre blew out, causing him to crash into a light pole.
The accident occurred along the Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of the Papourie Overpass.
Zoey died at the scene.
Seated in the front passenger seat was Zarin Christine Khadoo, 19, who was also injured.
Khadoo was taken for treatment to the San Fernando General Hospital.
