FOUR bandits have been killed in a shoot-out with police in Mayaro.
The shoot-out occurred on Monday morning at around 9 am.
Information coming to AZP News is that the bandits attempted to rob a businessman at his residence at Kristal Park Development.
Police officers were contacted and upon arrival at the location were met with gunfire from the bandits.
They returned fire resulting in the death of the assailants.
Four guns were retrieved at the scene.
The man, his wife and daughter were all duct-taped during the robbery process.
However, they did not receive any injuries.
Last month, police also killed four bandits during a robbery at Pennywise Plaza in La Romain.
