A 28-year-old San Juan man was fatally shot on Tuesday morning near a doubles stand.
Reports indicate that Josimar Nero, of Shende Street, was standing near a doubles vendor on the Eastern Main Road in San Juan near Third Avenue when he was approached by a man who shot him.
Several shots were fired and the suspect ran away as passersby scampered to safety.
Nero was rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope where he succumbed to his injuries.
