FIVE people died of Covid-19 on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,198), noted that there were 182 new positive cases.
The deaths were two elderly men and three elderly women.
Three persons had multiple comorbidities and two persons had a single comorbidity.
The ministry also stated that 168,246 boosters have been administered while 51.2% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 16, 129 or 79.9%, while 4, 062 or 20.1% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to August 17, 2022.
